Zion National Park
Updated: May 25, 2022
Again, I sort of broke the rules when visiting Zion National Park. Nothing bad, but I did stay overnight in the park and took an extended nap in my truck bed. There just wasn't any other place to stay.
Below is one of the most iconic picture spots in the park. You can only get this view when standing atop the bridge over the Virgin River. However, if you are looking to get a picture of your own, sadly that's not possible anymore. They closed the bridge to pedestrians because it was causing too much traffic with the shuttle buses. It was also a safety hazard.
There are other great scenes within the park, though. I'm not sure what mountains these are, but they were lit beautifully by the sun. Each day brings about a different scene, with no two being the same.
I'd really like to go back and spend more time in the park. I feel there is a lot left to see and experience.
